Fish Fanatic
So, I am using a sump / overflow system on my tank. The overflow vents are located at the top of the tank, and are roughly 1/8'th of an inch wide.
See attached picture. Those little vents at the top just behind the outflow pipe.
Also see, problem fish.
I have had to fish one of these little dues out of the overflow area twice now. ( to be fair, other than the water having some debris in it, its quite livable in there. Some food gets swept in there for him. )
But I would rather stop having to rescue him.
The overflow has 3 sides, and shaped kind of like 3 sides of an octagon if that makes sense.
Anyhow. I am trying to think of a way to keep him from swimming in there till get gets bigger ( if he makes it that long ) that isnt obtrusive or distracts from the aesthetics of the interior of the tank.
Any thoughts or insights would be appriciated! Thanks!
