i was wondering what everyones thoughts on keeping a pair of Bolivian rams, and a pair of a. cactuoides in a 25 us gal long. i was thinking heavily planted, with line of site territories planned out with proper planting and driftwood etc. I'm only looking for thoughts. i don't care to hear a spitting contest between anyone on this. i already have a male Bolivian ram, in search of a female. i would really like to keep the a. cactuoides too. let me know what you think.

I have cockatoos with bolivians and they're fine, but my tank is 50 gallons.

I'd say go for it but have a back up plan in case they fight. neither cockatoos or rams seem to do a whole lot of actually physical fighting they just seem to square up to one another until either they get bored or one backs down and swims off.

Cockatoos can be pretty aggressive to eachother though. I recently bought a new female (an adult as my females are still young) and after about 2 hours i had to take her out, a few weeks later i tried putting her in again and again had to take her out after 10 minutes because the male kept flicking her with his tail and was being so aggressive and wouldn't leave her alone.

they should be fine in a 100ltr tank, especially if it is heavily planted.
I say go for it.
