Under ideal conditions, Goldfish can be adult sized in 6 months FYI. Of course ideal conditions are quite rare for the majority of golds.

I don't know if this is just a regular old koi or a goldfish they tossed in, but this thing is huge and is at my LFS. It's also the reason why I refuse to keep goldfish. No way am I risking anything getting this big!

This fish is over 2 feet long..

is koi, looks like a ogon, but goldfish are usually smaller than 2 ft (unless its bruce)

Some Goldfish can reach two feet though even when they don't, it's still well over a foot in length.

sorry but a goldfish thats 3 months old is a litle under a inch.

I have raised goldfish fry from when they were about 1-2cm.
