This is soooooo bad!!

I was at my dad's office today and was talking to one of his coworkers when I noticed she had a betta in a Kritter Keeper on her bookshelf. Being the fish addict I am, I HAD to go over and look. I was so incredibly disgusted by what I saw. This poor betta was in a Kritter Keeper with prolly about an inch and a half of water. He was barely even covered!! IN fact, it sorta looked like he was srunched down just to stay wet!! It's not like this lady doesn't know how to take care of bettas!! She's had at least one since she's worked in the office!! She used to keep them in one of those betta bowls with the light attatched. When I asked her why there was so little water in the tank she said it was because she read somewhere that bettas prefer small amounts of water!! I was quick to correct her, (I think I just about tripped over myself trying to get the words out!!) I seriously hope she gets with the program and starts treating her betta a little bit better!!
