Well I got her from a friend. She gave it to me after failing her attempt to breed them... well I think shes pregnant... So then she gave me the tank and stuff. But I think shes pregnant... Dunno for sure. Anyone can help me? If she is... I only received the female one.
erm, hon, female Bettas don't get pregnant. They are egg-layers, when Bettas spawn the male makes a large floating nest of bubbles, picks up the eggs in his mouth and blows them into the nest to care for them until they hatch. Check out the sticky thread for more info! Anyway, no need to worry about having babies. Most healthy females are almost constantly filling up with (unfertilized) eggs ~ it's completely healthy for them, they either absorb the eggs or drop them (unfertilized) and eat them. The only way you can get babies is if you put her together with a male (PLEASE dont, at least until you do lots of research) and he fertilizes the eggs and tends to them until they hatch.
