This Is A Common Pleco Right?

It looks a bit long and pointy for a common, but they come in so many different shapes and sizes, only Smithrc will be able to tell you for sure

Colouration dosnt look quite right for a common - but that may very well be due to the rather bright gravel 8:

try and get a side on piccy ;)

I think the 'long and pointyness' is due to the distortion through the glass of the tank.

It could be a common but as smithrc says, the colouration doesn't look quite right.

We need a better picture!

ill try and get one. he is striped in a sense as you can see in the pic. its kinda an unusual striping. Ill see if i cant get him to come out and play tonight. Don't know if this helps, not a pleco expert, but he does have a really tall fin on the back and really big tail fin he flexes alot when eating. But, most all plecs prob have the same lol
