25 dollar kit sounds like DIY, no.

Nope. I bought it, and put it together. And it's not a canister filter.

You put a fiz tab in the top bottle along with the appropriate amount of water, and it sends co2 into the bottom chamber where it is trapped and put into water .

Hahaha. It's good enough for my tank. And it's doing it's job. The next aquarium I'm getting +30 gallons I hope, I'll get it with a stand, and a co2 cannister. I don't know, maybe it'll become a salt water micro.

That kit is ok, but the reators you get this it are huge, and I suspect will look crap. Also you dont need a pH controler, useful yes but a very expensive piece of kit, that I have heard is more hassel then it is worth, Have you tried Ebay?
