Thinking Of The New Range

has any one seen the new range of nano tanks aqua one has brought out. they are called the aquaspace. they have over hanging LED's so i thought it could be possible to set up a nano tank with just corals in and maybee a shrimp. the one i want is the aquaspace 28. has any one had this set up as marine. the small black one is the one i want it would look amazing on an office desk lol

hmmm sounds like the biocube? I want a led 28g biocube to put a rbta with a pair of clowns in!

If you are after something that small, have you looked at the new TMC microhabitat? They have got one set up in my LFS and it looks ace, filled with a few softie frags. It comes with a back chamber with a air driven skimmer, a return/circualtion pump and a LED light unit. Looks the nuts, just make you dont get the first batch, there were some issues with leaking and cloudy acrylic. They seem to be okay now though.

It may be worth a look if you are looking at a small tank. Hope the link is okay to put up.

I really wish they wouldn't put this in ads though as I dont think they are suitable to people new to the hobby. Sorry to put a downer on it

Oh yeah, its definetely not for a beginner. That is a bit naughty, but I reckon it could make a cracking setup. Not for a bad price either!

wow that microhabitat looks a good challenge. if i got it it would just be frags and maybee a few sexy shrimp. the reason i like the aqua one version is because its only 50-60 pound however you do not get a protein skimmer and the filter is an internal which looks aqful so if i got the aqua one one then i would have to change the filter and get a protein skimmer.

wow.does anyone know if you would get away with a sexy shrimp and maybee a yellow clown goby or a neon goby. im so tempted haha. yet more money out of my account on marine. the only thing putting me off this is the price for such small a tank the aquaspace although hasnt got a protein skimmer seems like the better deal and they are slightly bigger
