So I find the api kit abit of a pain to fill and stand the tubes up etc

So I have drafted this up and am going to make a proper one

Also will be putting syringe holder in

All holders will be made professional standard and all sanded

Still needs re designed slightly and lowered a little bit


Would anybody be interested in buying any if I make some

Once I have made a proper one for myself I will post some pixtures

Hello. I haven't tested my tank water in quite a few years. Do you still have to get a vile full of the tank water and put a certain number of drops of these chemicals to see if your water chemistry is right for the fish? Sorry, guess that was a silly question. Obviously, that still needs to be done. What about the testing strips aren't they just as accurate?

Strips rarely include ammonia which is usually the first thing to show up if there's something wrong.
Strips are usually considered to be less accurate than strips. Certainly if they get damp they give inaccurate readings and if they are not kept in an air tight container they are likely to become damp.

Hello again. Sounds like something you'd need to use if you were in the habit of missing a scheduled water change. I'd think if you kept the strips in a dry place, they'd be easier to use than all the chemicals. You'd think with technology so far advanced these days, there'd be something you could just stick on the inside of the tank that would alert you to high levels of nitrogen in the tank water. I don't know. I just change most of the water every week.
