thinking of getting a betta.

hi i have a 5 gal RIO tank running with a small filter but NO heater.
i was thinking of getting a betta because they are soo beautiful.
would he or she be ok with out a heater my room usually gets pretty hot so i was thinking it would be ok but not 100% sure.

ive got a small plant that is floating on the top i know that they like to hide under things,do they like caves and things because ill get somthing that he or she can go through


i cant wait to get one ill post pics if i do thnx for reading.

If you can keep the temp in your room pretty stable, then he or she should be fine without a heater.

They love caves. Just make sure ALL holes are either wide enough for them to get through easily, or small enough that they can't even try. Otherwise, they'll get stuck.
