Think She's Ready To Pop?

This tube like thing is near her anal fin, it's darker, like a black color on the inside, it keeps "contracting" it looks like, it gets bigger than smaller, does that mean she's going to give birth? All the other fish are near her, I don't know what to do.... Help?


P.S. She is pregnant, so is that the birthing tube contracting? It's been "contracting" for about the last 10 minutes, and she's kinda breathing heavy..


EDIT: There appears to be clear eggs coming out of her? Is she aborting or is that normal?

she is aborting, you might be lucky if you have some viable fry left but i dont think so

Thanks! I feel sad now for her, she'll be ok though right? Oh, and she's pooping at the same time, (for like 10 min now) it's kinda weird... ya when she's "contracting" it looks like she's pushing too, I've never seen them do that, but then again, I've never seen mine give birth, or abort.

im pretty sure she'll be ok but try to keep her unstressed and feed her when she is done

she should be ok, you might even have some fry!

Umm, she still hasn't really done anything, but she's pooping like crazy, and a really long one too! (it's normal color though) so it's all good? I'm just worried cuz it's been about an hour and she still hasn't had any, how long does it usually take?

any more eggs/fry, and where are you keeping her? in another tank or a breeding trap

take her out by now

feed her after if you havent already

lastly if you have any males in the tank you are returning her to seperate them as they might cause her more stress by chasing her

Yup, I took her out of the breeding trap a while ago cuz nothing was happening, she just kept pooping, but at the same time white things started coming out... She's fine though so far...

Hey, Sorry it was later last night so I went to bed, anyways she's still good but hasn't had her babies yet, or released any eggs, I thought they were eggs coming out, but then she started "pooping" I guess this clearish see through stuff... it was kinda weird, she's ok anyways but still hasn't had her babies yet... Nope, she's still pretty big and plump, she's also squared off it looks like still, she's hiding near the heater ALOT still and doesn't move very much, only when the other fish start to chase her... Mostly the male molly

i think she might be having problems getting the fry out, if she doesnt get the fry out soon, theres a chance she might die along with the babies keep her as relxed as possible and put her in another tank with some other female mollies so she can be with her own kind. dont put any males in with her or other fish that will chase her. if she starts giving birth remove the females from the tank as quickly as possible

Ok, the only problem is I don't have another tank, I have my dad's but there's still other males in there... I have a breeding trap but I kept putting her in it before (yesterday and that) I don't wanna keep stressing her out, you know? Hmm, I'm gonna go check on her now and see how she's doing..
