had him since march, only seen him/her twice, gorgeous looking fish, just seems a waste when you can't see him/her,my own fault really should have done more research before i got him/her

I have 1 as well but I see mine daily at least and 2 flash plecs but I only ever see 1 at a time  I would wait until it matures a bit and you may see more of it! Plecs are good at hiding!

cheers for that
Ever tried watching your tank late at night when plecs are most active? You might see him eating and even swimming then. It's fascinating to watch nightime behaviour-plecs out and about feeding etc, cichlids sleeping motionless as if in a trance, mollies still looking for late night snacks

yes tried that, just seems to love hanging about under the bogwood, thats why i have named him the scarlet pimpernel

I have a clown plecos she is 3 YR old. I don't see her that much but at times she is out and when a algea waffers in the tank she hunts it down.

I did have a medusa pleco that I NEVER EVER saw. It was a waste of space IMO it would eat and poop and I never got to enjoy it. SO i brought it back to the store. Now I stick to the good old BN plecos they are the best.
