Cannot find Coppersafe anywhere within 45 minute drive. Three independents are out of it and large chains don't carry it. Not sure what to do. Help. I've turned off the light and put a blanket over them.

Tank- 20 gallons
Fish-  5 baby guppies and 2 baby mollies (everyone else has died)
Plants- moss ball, 2 grass like things, and 1 thing I don't know the name of

Is there an alternative med? Should I order online and hope something is still alive when it finally comes in? Are these little guys goners?

Thanks for any help.

Keep the light of for 7 days, raise the temp in the tank, make sure you add An air stone as the oxygen will deplete in warmer waters, do 30% water changes everyday with conditioned water, add aquarium salt...
You should be able to pick some up from a LFS. Make sure you go online and calculate the amount you should add, don't take a blind stab at it.
Do this until you can order something in.
Good luck

The LFS are all out of it. At one of the stores, they didn't know what else to use but said maybe API General Cure? I bought it. It has metronidazole and praziquantel.
Or maybe I should go back and buy the Ich med? Some of the websites say that ich medications will work too, even though copper is the best?

If that is all you have then I would use it.
I have used general cures before and found them to be effective when I don't know what's wrong with my fish.

But I do this as a last resort after trying to cure with clean water, doing large water changes and temperature control.

Do a partial water change before you add the meds, watch them for a few days for improvement.
I would order meds now and if the general cure hasn't worked I would use a carbon filter get rid of old meds in the water, do a water change and start with the velvet meds, keeping the light off throughout.

Ich meds do work.
You can only half dose with fry also.
Also velvet far worse than whitespot and takes longer to get rid of.

Good Luck.

Sorry for your losses.
