My mollies and especially sward tails are getting something, usually after birth that looks like clamped fin, gill disease, dropsy and hole in head disease. Problem is they are appearantly dieing of starvation. I used Jungle Fungus Clear 3 times now and it seems to solve the problem for as long as the meds are in the tank but they come back as soon as I remove the meds and do a partial water change. I am somewhat concerned my well water may have something that is causing or helping whatever my problem is.

Please, any help is appreciated.

BTW, Glad to be back. Just wish it were under better circumstances.

First off can you please post test results in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph, what size is the tank, how many fish and what type, and what filter do you use.

I had a similar problem with my mollies and platys after birth they would not eat and then eventually they passed. I still dont know what it was, there was no disease in the tank since the fry are doing very well. Someone said maybe it was because they had been bred so much.

My signature has the fish and size of my tank. (30Gal) All tests are within normal parameters except maybe nitrate. I have no test for it. The filter is an over the side double; It works well for a tank twice the size. The fry are doing well. (Fry only a week or two old.)
