well, after a lot more research and reading around in various places i have come up with a list of possible tank mates to house in my 80 Gal.

let me know what you think and if there are any advise and/or other fish that work well with what i have so far please let me know aswell

i am planning on having 3-4 of each i think: with 1 male and 2-3 Females...

- Labeotropheus Trewavasea (?)
- Melanchromis Johanni (electric Blue)
- Metriaclima Callainos (Cobalt Zebra)
- Labidochromis Caeruleus (yellow Lab)
- Pseudotropheus Flavus (Dinghani)
- pseudotropheus elongatus (?)

let me know how this sounds to you...

thanks

The two Pseudotropheus species, despite different color, are closely related. This will all too often result in extra aggression that's just not needed. Choose just one and you've got a nice looking tank, and with one less species you can give all the others and extra female in their group.

thanks a lot!!

i was thinking about that myself that the same species may not work out that well together and cause aggression i just wasn't positive....

and i hope my LFS is compitent enough to get the correct number of males and females that i order....because they have been wrong all too many times thus far!!!

I wouldn't count on it, they're tough to impossible to sex when they're juveniles. The best way to make sure you get enough females is to get a couple of extra of each to start.
