alright, my dad finally finished the stand and hood, hooked up the lights, and resealed the tank. he's getting the gravel this week and then we test the sealant!

of course, he's decided he wants a Corydoras (probably Albinos) in the tank. that ruins the whole BioTope idea, now he just wants a well-aquascaped tank. i keep demanding a hidden piece of PVC for the Cories, no go, so i'll be hiding one in there later :shifty: our list is now something like this...

2 Blue Rams - unsure of the pairing (MF, MM, FF) any suggestions? i don't want them to bond and then spawn and have the bond broken when the eggs are eaten and end up with one beaten up Ram!
50-some Neons - maybe more!
6-12 Albino Cories - might be another Cory type, might be a different number
and colonies of Ghost Shrimp and African Dwarf Frogs.

also, i might add in a Pleco if the one i get for my tank gets too big too fast =)

[Edit] : 400TH POST! :drink: :hooray: :-

Why's the biotope broke? All those fish are still south american (amazonian) fishes .

they are?

:X i thought Cories weren't South American! silly me

well, the frogs are blatanly African, but shhhh. mayhaps we'll paint them pretty colors and calls them Poison Arrow Frogs ;)

(i'm joking, for anyone who thinks i'm being serious)
