Right then chaps and chappettes!

A quick update on where i am.

On friday i ordered my tank (32"(L) x 18"(D) x 20"(H) (40gal). This will be ready on thursday.

And i now have a near complete list of the main hardware i have chosen. What do you think, would you make any changes?

Skimmer = Deltec MCE300
Powerheads = 2 x Tunze nanostreams 6025
Lighting = Arcadia overtank luminaire (4xT5)

Osmotics 4 stage (50gal/day) RO unit (inc DI)

Now i am thinking of which heater to get to make my main list complete, before i start to think of sand and rock etc etc
Which wattage do you think i should go for? 150w? 200w?
And does anyone have any recommendations???

I was tempted to pop a picture of where the tank is going to be placed and have this as my first marine journal, but thought the pic would be a pretty lame one!

Anyway, hope to speak to you guys soon as things start to take shape!

What sort of substrate and rock you going for cheif?

Hiya buddy, gonna go for aragonite(sp) sand and live rock for sure.
Decided im gonna go with instant ocean for my salt too.

Does anyone know what the hydor heaters are like too? the in-tank ones, not the externals.

Hi from Sheffield anyways if I was you I would try and find a visitherm or jager/eheim heater - the visitherms are everywhere in any case
