The Stolen River A Journal With Questions

How would you go about counting such fish to see if any have died?

personally i would ditch the Angels and go for a shoal of about 50 Tiger Barbs (mixed with Green Tigers).

I would have thought Tigers will be fine in a large number, becuase they will only be aggressive to their species, but that is a guess based on the stocking of my (slightly smaller) 180L tank

i wouldnt / couldnt really count the fish but i could look out for dead ones

and yep gonna keep one shoal

and really want angels as they look great

Bare in mind although unlikely in such a large tank it is possible for angels to eat slim bodied tetra. Granted you probably wouldnt notice in such large numbers but something to bare in mind perhaps. I've kept most species of tetra and I can say I actually really like the look of deeper bodied species, especially lemon tetra in big groups.

Keep us posted.
