anyone played the sims 3??? whats is it like??

i have just brought it on xbox 360

I've got Sims 1 and Sims 2 for the PC and a couple of Sims for the PS2...

I do own a copy of sims 3 for the PC but never played it; I object to the fact they actually want you to pay money for the stuff in the game.

Otherwise I love the sims

Do they now want you to pay for additional items?

EA games is the worst game producer going now, they've got too big for their own boots. I refuse to buy :hey: their games now. I think the last one I bought was battlefield 2142 and even then that was a poorly designed game (it was pretty much game they had already released with just different skins).

I hate EA with passion due to the fact they release the sims with only a small amount of content and then they go and release a million "expansions" which range from 5 - 10 items and some new hair doo's and somehow get away with it.

Spore was their worst customer relation situation... Horrible game company.

However Sims can become addictive (Sims 1 was anyway, 2 wasn't so fun).

I preferred Sims 2 to sims 1 purely because there was "more to do" lol.

Yes as far as I am aware you have to actually pay for stuff you got in the previous ones. Like everyday items :(
