The Russian Dwarf's...

Okay a while ago i bought a pair of russian dwarf hamsters, both female, one white one dark? lol.
They're such quick little things its difficult to get any decent pictures, but heres one of them... we call her pippin:




this picture shows her size really well, russian dwarfs grow no bigger than 3"


I'll try and get some better pictures, these really dont do them any justice, they're great pets.

are these the same as just 'dwarf hamsters' ? or is there a difference ?

Russian dwarfs have a promiant black stripe which streches from their head to their tail.
Their coats are also alot thicker

Did you know russian dwarfs are the most common dwarf hamster.

The breed you have is actually a campbells russian. I have 5 too, pocket rockets I call them!
