well i was gettin kinda bored yesturday and i remembered that i had another 10 gal. layin around that i had bought at walmart for $8.96 simply because it was so cheap. Well i thought through all my options (i wanted to have the filter i have on my other ten power both of them) and decided to rig up the filter. After some tinkering all i wound up doing was blowin a fuse in the house. So i rethought my options and decided to just stack one ten on top of the other and punch out the bottom of one. I had the worst time ever tryin to get the bottom off of the one tank and eventually wound up settin it on a towel, puttin on my shoes and breakin out the bottom (lol if you try this yourself i'd use a chissel and sheilding your eyes)
After that i sealed the two aquariums together with aquarium sealant. i left it to dry overnight and i'm gonna test it tonight after school. The only problem i can see with it is that there is a strip of tape in the middle concealing my horrible job of sealing.
Other than that it is REALLY tall and if it works will be my livebearer tank.
