Ya know,I've seen the lamps with shells & beads etc, I was wondering how long it would take before they stuck a fish in it Water changes would be a pain,surely.

Well the size (2.5-5 gallons) isn't bad ... but with that narrow neck (& assume the bulb is mounted at the top somewhere) -- I would think the surface area would be horrible!!

Its just another way of teaching the public it is ok to use living things as f***ing decorations. I hate things like this. I hope the betta fad dies out before the species does, because it is ruining them genetically and basically causing a huge number of them to suffer and die.

I don't think that will be a big seller. That is just about Tacky imo. I don't see too many peopel spending that kinda money for those. It's very "gimicky".

Don't look for teh "betta Fad" to die out any time soon....unless they come out with another fish that can live as hardily and be as prety as a betta.
