ok guys im just after a little information on this character. I know the fish grows to over 2 foot but what i want to know is how big is it after say 1 year? then how big after 2 years etc. The reason being i just want to know how long it would take for it to get to its 2 foot in length. thank you for any info given.

And also is this guy ok with a couple of oscars?

Keeping anything with a pair of oscars would be risky, I certainly wouldn't house 2 messy fish with a fish as tolerant to nitrate as an Mbu puffer.

The fish grow up to 26" long in aquaria, if you think you can house that fish long term, be sure you've got the financial stability to be able to do that.

It grows over an inch a month for the first 12 months if I remember...

Depends on the tank size really. Mbu aren't small fish and they're temperamental. I remember a story of one that was kept with some alligator gars for some time, then one day decided to bite them all in half.
