The Invisible Fish...

Does anyone else like having some fish they rarely see? In my scarlet badis tank I added 5 Asian Stone Catfish and 6 Zebra Babaulti Shrimp. I rarely ever see any shrimp & usually only see 2 or 3 of the catfish at a time. I enjoy looking in the tank and seeing what I can find. Reminds me of looking in a stream as a kid.

I like some very shy fish. I like the image of the stream - that's how I see it too. I have some Enteromius cf jae barbs - tiny things - that rarely some out. When they do, they are very nice indeed. Most of the time when I look at their tank, I'm content to see the plants and the general set up.

If we like our tanks to reflect nature - a lot of these tiny fish are everybody's snack, and they live like they know it.
