hey guys sorry for making another poll but i just was checking out some cichlids and i seen a male t-bar dont know now, like ive got a feeling for both of them but cant decide, there equal

t-bars get (males) to about 5 inchs from memory! i belive its about 140 litre for 1 adult male, however i keep a male an female in that happily

For character and a "wet pet" a severum is hands down the winner. However, if you are looking for a breeding pair in a more limited space then the T-bar is clearly better. A 55g would be fine for a pair.
Both are lovely fish.

agreed 55g is better suited to a pair of t-bars than a sev. if you do decide to go for a sev then you would realisticly be looking at 1 of the smaller sevs , such as rotkeil and heros severus .

yehh and t-bars like i really like there color ,they stay smaller ,

But then sevs have personallity but take up so much room

But are t-bars like hard to find?
