The Family Fish Tank

I dont seem to have the same knack taking photos of fish that i do with bugs, but here the best photo of the fish tank, took a couple of minutes ago, bar the adnois photo. All the fish get on perfectly, and have been doing so for months, well i got the knife fish a sunday. Theres no fighting what so ever, and each catfish has its own little hidy hole

Its the family fish tank with all our fish in, although i have the best ones
Ive got a couple of different shrimp, and a gibbi plec, and all the individual ones above
Me, mum, dad, and my sister all put towards it every now and then, me and my dad get the most fish, and dad gets blood worms and treats, while mum usually gets the fish food and plants, and i spend the most i spect on doing up the tank, that piece of over priced suckerwood stuck to the side

OMG 30th opst, and im now a fish fanatic { D
Thats quite good seeing as i have myself my own little fish gang now

As for the knife fish i was very close to getting some once before, but for some daft reason i didnt, but im really glad i got these 2 sunday, i didnt think they`ed grown on me as fast as they did

Well now the families all p!$$ed, just came home from school and the heaters up to @#%$ing 82!
It was like friggin bathwater, and one of my knife fish died
When we find out what the hell happened, would it be worht getting another knife fish assuming they still have some for sale to accompany the now lone one?

tbh m8 82 isnt that high are u sure thats wot killed the knife fish ?? my tanks constantly sit at a perminent 82 but really becasue of the fish i keep but 82 is far from anythink 2 high

Im not sure, my mum read it out in a voise that said it was higher than its ment to, either way i put my hand in the water and it was like really warm bath water, well you could of had a nice warm bath in it, if you didnt mind sitting on spin plecs, its always your nicest fish first

do you have any of the water stats?
what were you feeding them?

unless the temp has shot up considerably fast then a temp of 82 wouldn't be the cause of the death,
Also If temperature was to blame you would have lost more than 1 fish.

i think the range for knife fish goes upto 82 so i would just check other things first m8 just incase not really herd of 82 killing any fish unless theres underlined problems before hand my tanks have a warm touch when i put my hand in again its the fish i keep but i dont think a temp of 82 only would have killed the fish the temp rise would have been graduall not like instat heat unless your mom said 92 i would check other things first
