The Ducklings Have Hatched!

After remembering I hadn't posted here for a long time, I decided to update you on the duck front!
We have had a hen (a chicken) sitting on 5 duck eggs, and they've finally hatched!
Here are a few pictures of the new babies..

We have around 3 silver appleyard babies (1 male and 2 females) and then 2 others that we're not entirely sure the breed of, but they're more fluffy than the appleyards, and they're also khaki in colour. It'll be interesting to see what those guys turn out like, so I'll definitely try and keep you updated

I would love it if they did, but they're currently being raised by one of our chickens
When I did raise a few myself, I never did see if they would follow me, but they would wake me up at 5am in the morning and wouldn't be quiet again until I gave them a cuddle

They really are incredibly dirty, but I think they're rather lovely too.
