The Chat's Messed Up?

Unable to connect : java.net.UnknownHostException : {ipb.vars['ibirc_server']}

comes up in the java chat (have to use java for now). It worked fine yesterday.

And when I then type /server irc.oftc.net in the box, it begins to log me in, but then says errorous nickname and doesn't allow me in. Did the new Changes mess with the chat.

I'm sure it works on irc. there's no reason it wouldn't.

but maybe we need to toggle with the java a bit?

It isn't working for me either, it could be that this version of a java chat client isn't compatible with the board.

it is working through mIRC however, so it could be the chat client isn't compatible, rather then the server.

But I dunno...

Yup, must be something to do with the upgrade. Temporary still works fine though (not being part of the main board, as such), available at www.fishforums.net/chat for only £5.99

Yea the URL that CFC posted works you just have to change your username since its not connected to the board. I'm sure they're working on getting it fixed.

you have to click the link cfc posted.. doesnt work if you click the live chat thing in the top right
