Its a topic thats discussed frequantly here on the forum and is usually quite interesting to see/read peoples oppinions and thoughts on fish compatability..... so here goes...

I have a 200odd ltr 4ft bowed front which was my discus tank.
I have sinse sold all my fish from it (bar 3 discus, which should be gone after this weekend) and am looking into what kind of fish to keep.

Having been a higher temp (and maintanance) planted tank, I am looking to go to the lower end of the tropical temp, particularly because I want to keep a nice shoal of red line torpedoe barbs.

So here's my question..... What would go well with them?

Here's what I would like...

6-9 red line tordedeo barbs
12-15 oddessa or tiger barbs
10 sterbi cories
1 or 2 bristle nose plecs

and I would like to keep some kind of cichlid, something that wont grow too big, firemouth maybe? Dont know, not esential but just a thought...

So what do you all think? where have I missed some obvious flaw in my plan?

Any info kindly appreciated.

Oh... and my tank will continue to be planted, bogwood scape.

Thanks... Gary
