i want to thank everyone anyone replied to my post about my injured pleco and the advice!

my pleco has no more red spots or bruises. he seems fine. thanks again for the help

Hi! Great news to hear that your pleco is doing better! I like when people give an update after there's been a problem, especially when it's happy news!

Quick tip: When you'd like someone to see a comment or post you've made, such as your list of names, you can tag them. That means they'll get a notification at the top right of the screen when they log in and it'll say something like "finfayce mentioned you in (insert name of thread)" or "Adorabelle Dearheart liked your post in (insert name of thread)". Then they can click the notification and it'll take them straight to that comment/thread. Makes it easier to navigate the forum and means they'll know you've mentioned them, and will see your post. Since no one has time to read every thread, they might not see your thread thanking them, and you might think you've been ignored! But they just didn't know they'd been mentioned without a tag and notification, linking them to where it is.

To tag someone, just type the @ symbol, followed by their username. No space between the @ symbol and their name. Their name and profile pic will appear in a small box, click on that and it'll tag them

I've tagged these first few names, will let you tag the others!

I'm not very tech-minded/social media savvy myself, only know a few things about how forums work from using other forums that use the same softwear and functions. But they vary, and not everyone is familiar with forum stuff since forums aren't as popular as they used to be. Everyone Tweets and Facebooks nowadays *old person huff* young people these days!

I'm trying to get a mod to teach me how to use some of the less used functions myself, like the spoiler boxes. BB code confuses me.

i hear you! my son is a graphic artist and i think he feels he has the dumbest mom. lol. i am still learning all the stuff iphones can do. i am old school and actually glad i grew up in the 50s and 60s.
