thanks to all of you who posted advice on my betta, "D". i did a complete water change, added aquarium salt, aquari-sol and quick-cure, and upped the temp. in his tank to 80 degrees. he still likes to hide under his plant, but no longer lays aginst his rock or hangs upside down and has become much more active. i don't know which thing made the difference, but your suggestions prompted me to take action and to do more research. thanks again!!
