Thanks for help in setting up second tank but ....

Thanks to the replies I received on help with setting up my second tank. It's now up and running and I have transferred my 4 minnows and 2 zebra danios.

The tank parameters are fine, all at desired levels but I still have 2 pearl gouramis and 2 dwarf gouramis in my smaller tank that I'd like to transfer over.

When I transferred the minnows and danios I got fish bags from my LFS . I let the bags float in the water for a while, adding 10% of water from the new tank every so often (the same as you would do when purchasing new fish). All these fish are fine.

The question I'd like to ask is, now that my tank has completed the cycle do I have to do the same with the 4 gouramis or can I transfer them straight into the new tank?

Sorry it's such a long post but I don't want to harm the gouramis. Better to be safe than sorry!

I'm a bit lazy, I don't do the water swaps between tanks and bags after I purchase but you do need to float the bags for 15 or so minutes when purchased, I have swapped fish between tanks without acclimatising them but you need to make sure the tanks are around the same Ph and temp so you don't shock the fish.
