One more update, just a single photo for now.

I swapped out a bunch of my fish, and now have four discus in the tank - plus 10 neon tetras. Also have changed a few of the plants, the cambodia on the left will be going soon and I will be replacing it with more of the plant that is to the right of it.

Also when I get the new external filter, the internal one will be going and I will put a large piece of bogwood in its place.

Hi, thought it was about time I updated this thread with some new photos. Finally managed to figure my camera out as well.

I have added some new plants. Removed a bit of bogwood which was leaching un-ending despite being boiled and re-boiled for around 20hrs. Also there's a few new fish in there.

i dont mean to be rude but if this is youre first tank you really shouldnt have that discus they are pretty much for more experienced fishkeepers due to there requirements IMO.
If i am wrong and you know what you are doing all i can really say is "Wow nice tank " lol

Sadly have to agree be careful with the discus, they do much better in a mature tank in a group. just keep an eye on them.

Thanks guys for all the wonderful comments and words of advice! I have updated the first post with a bunch of new photos which are at the top of the first post in this thread. The original photos are still there, but I have moved them downwards.

Let me know if there are too many photos and I will remove the originals...

I am actually wondering how much bogwood I could get away with in the tank. I am considering another 2 or 3 large bits now...
