Relatively new to the world of tropical fish keeping. Currently experiencing being overun with Platy fry. So having to set up another tank to stop overcrowding. Joined here so I can educate myself from people with experience

Well, welcome to our forum... :hi:
If you're planning to keep all those fry, a second tank won't be enough at some point. But if you'd want to control the number of fry, you could choose to add a fish that will eat those fry, sell or donate excessive fry to a store or someone else. It all depends on what your plans are, of course...

Are there any particular fish you would advise for controlling the fry. One tank has neon's (so don't want them eaten) and the 2nd tank will just be platys and a pleco

:hi: Remember to post lots of pictures and possibly also videos for us all to enjoy! At least that's what I love to do and watch! :fish:
