Since starting my birdie hotel thread as attached below, I've become progressively more interested in birds and enjoy photographing those I can see in my garden.

This motivates me to start a new topic here, where you are invited to post pics of birds you've spotted in your garden in the format provided to see if we can draw a meaningfull conclussion on distribution and habitat of the birds being featured.
I hope you'll participate and I will consider pinning it if the topic leads to enhancing information.
I will start off by posting pictures of (as example) the Go-away bird to provide a format which you should follow when posting in this topic. (Please do not discuss any of the posts on this topic - open a new topic if you wish to say anything about a bird being featured here and stick to the template provided exclussively)
My Name: Ludwig Venter
Date and time Photo(s) was taken: 12/09/10 at 15H00
Country I live in: South Africa
County I live in: Limpopo Province
Town I live in: Amandelbult
General habitat of area I live in: Bushveld (this could be either City, rural, countryside... etc)
Bird being photographed: Go-away bird
Scientific name if known: Do not Know.
Is the bird seen throughout the year in your area: Yes.... indigenous. (could also be seasonal)
Do you see the bird Daily, weekly, monthly or very seldom. Currently daily in groups of 5 to 10
Is this bird nesting in your garden: No, but I've seen a nest in the neighbours'garden
In your opinion.... Why is this bird in your garden: They are after Mulberries currently ripening.
Any other info you have about this bird It is reported that this bird is the "watchman"of the widlife... if anyone stalks a buck (or other animal) in hunting, the familiar "Go-away" scream of the bird will warn the animals and they'd run away.
Pictures of the bird: (as below)
