Texas X Polleni?

get this my mate has a male polleni and a female texas in a 5ft tank both are the same size 15cm and because they are both egg layers they have decided to well breed!!!! lol
she has now got 20 out of 200 fry that have survived and omg they are the most ugliest things yet so damn evil they have the body shape of the male polleni yet a very mixed colour of both the mum and dad when i go over their next i will get some pics of them they are about 9cm in size.........lol i spun out when i saw them the local pet store want to buy them off her lol

Well its BS anyway,its about as possible as making a Oscar/Neon tetra Hybrid,they are 2 completely different fish.

Dunno I wouldn't have thought it would be possible to get a red bay snook x blood parrot but it has been done. I would need to see some proper proof though.

Impossible.Texas cichlids are herichthys carpinte...So polleni aren't even a sub species.
Would look pretty awesome though..

Well I've seen tons of texas crosses (JD, convict, jag, red devil, BP etc) so if anything is gonna cross with something completely unrelated it would be a tex. But yeah I agree it would be pretty much impossible.

A better example would be crossing a Convict with a Yellow Lab.....it can't happen.
