Tetratec Ex700

Do I have to use a spray bar or can I get away with a straight return back to tank. Looking to buy a tetratec ex700 to replace an internal filter, but it doesn't come with a spray bar.

i was thinking this myself as ive just ordered a ex700. Im sure its ok not to use the spraybar as thats what im planning to do.
I will let you know when i fit it up

I have a tetratec ex700 and it does come with a spraybar,

I've just removed my Ex700 spray bar as it was getting clogged with snails within days.

I find its not providing a great circulation around a Rio 180 (discovered when i added a whitespot treatment).

I am trying to find a good alternative. Would a cut down funnel replicate a Lily-pipe in any way?

it dos come with a spray bar bt you can use it with out if thts wat u wnt

i use mine no spay bar no problem
