Hi all.

Looking to buy both of these soon and from what I can tell they should be compatible. The only thing I'm worried about is whether the outlet pipe on the TetraTec will fit the Hydor. Anyone used these two products together or can confirm if they will fit?

TIA

should be fine - Ive'f not used them but the hydor in line heaters have tapered connectors to connect to different internal diameter hose ;)

Hi smithrc

That's good to know. The reason I am unsure is that this guy on ebay suggests that you need to buy the appropriate size for the tube diameter on the filter.

Is he getting his facts wrong?

Thanks again.

I have a TetraTec EX1200 and use the Hydor 300w external with it no problem. The 200w should be fine with the EX700. Depending on the size of your tank you may want to get the 300w but they are awsome heaters and the water realy is kept at a constant temperature.

Cheers
Adam
