Tetratec Ex1200

well that's me removed my fluval fx5 (thank god) and fitted my new ex1200,so hopefully in the morning my water will be alot clearer,the only thing isthe intake pipe sits about 6 inches from the bottom of the tank,will this make much difference?

This will be fine, mine is the same and still keeps the water clear and in great condition. They are fantastic filters and still picks up anything it needs to.
