Tetratec Ex1200 Primer Button Stuck

Im getting a bit sick of this when i do a filer clean on my TetraTec Ex1200 and use the primer button it always get stuck
this time i can not un stick it,

does it matter its stuck in ?
its running ok

any idea why it gets stuck ?

well i have had mine probably less than 2 months and mine has been stuck in for at least half of that time, it hasnt affected mine but it is a pain in the #14###, I am going to contact tetra as apparently their support is brilliant and they will replace the whole head part.

They will indeed send you a new one.

Happened to mine, happends quite a lot really, but TT are excellent, i submitted a quety online, 4 days later, new powerhead didnt even need my old one back

Cant say I have ever used any of the primer buttons on any of my external filters, when ever I clean them out I just fill them back up with tank water before refitting the top, turn the filter on and the pump does the work for you.

Give the filter a little wiggle to remove any trapped air, job done.
