Tetras - OK?

Hi

I'm considering re stocking my tank with small shoals of tetras (48"x15"x18")

Are all tetras compatible with each other? I've read they are an easy type to keep and breed, and after visiting my lfs they (the ones I saw perhaps a dozen types) appear to be similar in size.

most tetras are compatible...

in one of my tanks i have a school of neon and cardinal tetras, rummy nose, black phantom, and serpea tetras

in general, similarly sized tetras are ok together...if you get larger breeds (such as congo), they may cause aggression issues in the future
