Tetras And Barbs?

recently, i gave up cichlids so now i have tetras and 2 questions: will tetras and barbs mate? and will any barb mate with any barb and any tetra mate with any tetra?

depend on which type of barb. The denisonii barb(aka roseline shark) I have curretly have no problem with black neon and cardinal tetra in its tank. My alpha denisonii is almost at 15 cm now, and my new cardinal tetra only messure up to about 1.5 cm. They get along just fine, I was kind of worry my big one might eat them as I introduce them to my tank yesterday. But all seems fine.
