Is there such a thing as a bluey purple coloured tetra?

I don't think I've seen one.

It was for sale in Acorn pets. I'm wondering if its dyed but it definitely had a purple stripe.

Now i might be wrong here....but im pretty sure that these are dyed fish...A local Ifs has a whole tank of them and there all dyed with pink/purple/blue strippings. I feel bad for the little buggers.

Perhaps it was the Blue emperor tetra.

Are they like these

Yes the second pic. Dyed or not? I thought they looked rather pretty but i won't buy if dyed of course.

oooooooh might get some then. But the pet shop is pretty poor. they insist on leaving rotting fish in the tanks.

Do you know what kind of temperament they have? I currently have pearl and LF zebra danios.

They should work fine - danios are great for putting with practicaly anything :p
