Tetra Whisperer Ex 45 Review

I'm re-setting up a 30 gallon tank. The filter I have is a Tetra Whisper EX45. Anyone have experience with this filter? Is it good or should I buy a new one, it is in good condition, I just want to do everything right this time around.Thanks

Any filters you guys can recommend. It is 30 gallons, going to have live plants(planning on amazon swords and jungle val), and the fish will be corys, otos, neons, rummynose tetra and maybe a bolivian ram or two. Thanks
