Hey guys!

I just got into the hobby and I had a question about my air pump. I currently have a 29 gallon stocked with a Betta, 8 Neons, 6 Cory's, 3 cherry shrimp, 1 ghost shrimp and 3 snails. The tank has two connected sponge filters (picture attached) that are connected to a tetra whisper 10 air pump. I know the air pump is rated for up to 10 gallons but so far it's been holding up (I even have to cut the flow in half because the current is too fast for the betta). I recently bought a tetra whisper 60 air pump but the hum it creates is too loud and I still have to adjust the flow to a minimum to keep the betta from being pushed around. My question is, is it okay to leave the current air pump I have even though it's only rated for 10 gallons?

Thanks in advance for the advice.
