@Colin_T could it be stress coat?

Is there a reason why 5 doses? That wormer says repeat for maximum of 4 doses

A couple of the fish still look like they are showing signs so i thought id finish the bottle. It was 20ml and 4ml a dose each week.
A few people said it took months for theres to go.

Which fish are you talking about?

If you are using a medication, do not add other medications because the combination of chemicals will probably kill everything in the tank.

If you are treating fish for intestinal worms, you normally dose once a week for 4 weeks. The first dose should kill the adult worms, and the follow up treatments kill any baby worms that hatch from eggs.

If the medication is good and has not gone off, and you used the correct dose rates, there shouldn't be any worms left in the fish unless you introduced more worms with contaminated food like live Tubifex worms.

Its a couple of the guppies and a molly that are showing signs still. Looks like a couple of hairs/ bristles out of their anal area.
It was in date i thought better safe than sorry.

it appears the medication didn't work. it could have expired before you got it (kept in a hot area will do it) or you under-dosed.

I was dosing at 4ml my tank is a 240l but allowed for fact its not completly full and has large logs ect in.
I kept it in the cupbard under the tank but ill get another.
I however need help quick. Over the night 1 of the tetras has now got white growths, look like cotton balls.
Ive got the worming treatment in and about to do a clean and water change. Can i add some anti fungal in

Ph is at 7.5
They have been in for months but only noticed this issue over the last couple of days. This mornin then the one has the white patches.
While doing the worming treatment ive been cleaning tbe gravel every week, filter every week and daily water changes so im struggling to fathem how ive got a fish with a fungal infection

Maybe the tank conditions have just caught up with them. Tetras in general like to be in soft acid water.

I hope these help

no idea.

I would bomb the tank with salt and hope for the best. Add 2 heaped tablespoons of rock salt for every 20 litres of water. Keep the salt in there for at least 2 weeks.

It looks like little white patches they do fall off but then some others appear. Im at work but i did put salt in this morning. I tried to fill a jug with water and rest it on the side of the tank so it stayed in the water to keep warm to put him and treatment in but it wasnt working.

As i said its weird because ive been doing 20l water changes daily for 4 weeks and all the others seem fine exept for the worms
