Diamond head tetras with white bubbles of fungus on dorsal, lateral and tail fins.

Dorsal fin on one has now become red and 'eaten' looking. Others have developed tiny white spots (doesn't look like Ich though :/ )

Only seems to be the tetras that are affected, the 9 danios are all looking ok.

Have treated water with an anti-fungus medication but had to do a 30% water change the next day as my tank has had a huge ammonia spike and has possibly crashed. Unfortunately my test kit didn't pick up the spike, i only found out when my plec died and i got my LFS to do a test on a sample of water.

Is it worth treating the tank with Ich remedy as well as the anti-fungus? Will that work or will they affect the effectivness of each other?

Any help would be appreciated as i fear i may loose all the tetras otherwise.

Parameters:

pH 7
Ammonia 2.0ppm
Nitrite 0.0ppm
Nitrate 0.0ppm (there is some still in there, never gets more than 5.0ppm now though)
