The last couple of weeks my silver tips have been displaying spawning behaviour. They are all still quite small (most less then 1 inch) so I didnt think they would actually be able spawn successfully and the females did not look like they where carrying eggs.
Last night however when I was watching them I noticed the cory's in the tanks going nuts rooting around underneath where they where as if there was food. I couldn't see anything but was wondering how bit tetra eggs are and how visable they are to the naked eye?
I have never breed tetra's before and while I'm not specifically trying to breed them now (they are in a commuity tank) it would be cool if they manage to spawn successfully (though I guess the egg's probably wont last too long).
A couple of the Flame tetra's seem to be starting to spawn as well (though they are a lot more mellow about it then the silver tips).
