Just wondering basicly, I have 10 neons and breeding cherry shrimp in my planted tank and at the back is a moss wall tied to a piece of green plastic garden mesh. I can always tell when the cherries have just given birth as the part of mesh that isn't covered in moss yet has tiny white little shrimp you can just about make out crawling on it. But, today I looked and thought s**t there's like 100 but I don't think it is, a few of my tetra have had plump bellies for a short while and I've noticed all the tiny baby shrimp move around where as I can now see lots of round white dots resting in the bottom of the holes in the mesh and they don't move. Just wondered if they might be eggs as I can imagine an egg depositor leaving a group of eggs on mesh but how these are laid out is so strange. The holes are diamond shaped and 1 in 3 has a little white dot resting in the bottom of the diamond lol.
