I have been wanting to breed tetras for a while, and was wondering if anyone else did? I am looking at Serpae Tetras, 'Robert's Tetras', and Buenos Aires Tetras. Eventually I will decide on one :*)... I was wondering if a 10 gallon would be good enough? Of course it would have a filter and heater, but what else would I need to breed them? Will they eat their eggs? Thanks ahead!

Read my post in this thread. Although it talks mainly about Tiger Brabs, the same "recipe" can be used with suitable water parameter modifications for most barbs and tetras.

A 10 will be big enough for Serpæs, but not the larger tetras.
